Transportation times

Motorcycle transit times typically average from two weeks to fifteen working days. This does, however, depend on the distance and the final location - the more remote the destination, the longer the transit period. Most shipments are delivered within 1-10 days and arrive at your chosen destination 5-10 working days later. Prerequisites for packaging

Making sure that your motorcycle is appropriately packaged is absolutely vital if you want to avoid any potential vehicle damage during its journey. First make sure to clean your bike of any dirt and inspect and note down any damages, and remove any accessories or loose items. Lastly, you should have no more than a quarter of a tank of gas when shipping, and it's always a good idea to take a photo before transit. Motorcycles tend to be packed into durable crates, especially if being sent by air freight and, depending on the export method, information on packing specifications can be provided in advance. For sea transportation, the vehicle will be either loaded and secured into a vehicle container or be individually crated.

Transport insurance

Insurance is usually automatically covered by your chosen courier, which means that you do not have to take additional insurance out while your motorcycle is in transit. You can, however, get in contact with your chosen shipping company about further options, such as marine insurance if using sea freight, for additional peace of mind.
